Clickers (Audience Response System)

TurningTechnologies is the UCMerced supported Audience Response System. Academic & Emerging Technologies supports faculty use of TurningPoint’s Audience Response System (Clickers) and receivers are located in most registrar controlled classrooms. TurningPoint Cloud is the latest version of Audience Response technology from TurningTechnologies.

TurningPoint Cloud integrates with CatCourses and allows scores from the “clicker” software to be sent to the corresponding course in CatCourses. It also allows Participant Lists to be loaded into the TurningPoint Cloud from CatCourses enrollments.  Both instructors and students need to create an account with TurningTechnologies to use clickers for a course.

In-Classroom support is available during class hours from the OIT Service Desk.
