Printer Services


OIT will assist in the consultation, setup and/or configuration of any networked, departmental or desktop printer.

What do I need to get this service?

This Request is available for active staff, faculty or students.

For a printer that will be managed through PawPrint, you must already have a print code prior to submitting this request.

What is included?

For Pawprint or group printers, OIT Service Desk will coordinate the setup, configuration, and connection to the UC Merced campus network, and add the new printer to the campus print server. OIT can also assist in installing the new printer drivers on your departmental computers.

For desktop computers, we will setup the printer and configure your laptop and desktop for you.

When is support for this service available?

Support for this service is provided during standard operating hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

How long does it take to get the service?

Within 5 business days.

Submit a ticket and provide details on what you need.
