UCMNetID (New)

DESCRIPTION:

This is a self service option for claiming of your initial UCMNetID account. The UCMNetID provides access to UC Merced network and Internet services.

What do I need to get this service?

When you are a new student, new employee or transferring to a full time position, you need to claim your UCMNetID account including setting an initial password.


What is included?

A new UCMNetID will be issued allowing access to UC Merced services.


When is support for this service available?

This service is available 24/7.

How long does it take to get the service?

Accounts can be claimed as soon as they are created.

– Payroll feed: A new employee UCMNetID will typically be created 24 hours after completion of hiring paperwork.

– Student feed: A student UCMNetID will typically be created 24 hours after they submit their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).
