Single-Sign-On (SSO)

DESCRIPTION:

SSO allows you to log into many of the campus applications and services using the same UCMNetID and password. If you are an owner of a campus application or service, this service is for you to request SSO authentication.


What do I need to get this service?

You need to be an active faculty or staff and the owner of a university-owned application/service that supports the SAML (Shibboleth) authentication protocol. Please use the “Request Service” button and include the following information:

  • URL of application
  • Technical contact

What is included?

OIT will enable SAML authentication for your application/service. OIT can provide technical assistance with SAML configuration on the owners side.


When is support for this service available?

Support for this service is provided during standard operating hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.


How long does it take to get the service?

Within 3 business days.


How do I stop or change the service?

Contact the OIT Service Desk with your ticket number.
