Configuring Popular Email Clients
The following is a list of popular email programs and links to information available on configuring them to use various UC Merced IT services. Depending on the program, links may be provided to help configure the program, setup its SPAM filtering capabilities to interact with the UC Merced SPAM filter, and finally to integrate UCM Directory search functionality.

- UCM Webmail
- If you check your email through MyUCMerced Portal you do not have to change anything, the webmail channel will automatically be updated to the new email server.
- To check your email using webmail, go to http://mail2.ucmerced.edu and login with your UCMNetID and password.
- SPAM filtering - SPAM is filtered through the server so you will not have to configure UCM Webmail to filter SPAM.
- Thunderbird
