Web Site and Application Design, Development, and Hosting

Help for Faculty Members:

IT offers two ways for faculty members to publish web sites.

  1. Use UC Merced's Faculty Content Management System which provides a pre-set design for web sites. Content and menus are easily managed by using the Faculty Content Management System.

  2. Use a pre-existing site or create a new design and upload those files using SFTP or SSH. IT can create a new directory for faculty members to store site files, to request a new file directory email helpdesk@ucmerced.edu.
