CatCast – Lecture Capture and Live Streaming
You must be an active faculty or staff making the request.
OIT Academic and Emerging Technologies will set up CatCast which can capture and stream the following activity types:
- Lectures (Requested by the instructor)
- Guest Speakers/Lectures
- Special Events (Requested by the event coordinator)
Video capture technology is pre-installed in COB 102 (Lakireddy Auditorium) and COB 105. Other locations on campus may be serviced with the use of a mobile CatCast system.
Instructional Courses: Instructors should plan at least four weeks prior to the start of the semester. We do not take requests to capture courses for individual students.
Research, Administrative, and Special Events: Five working days advance notice is required for video capture and streaming requests. OIT Academic and Emerging Technology will make efforts to accommodate requests with less notice, but will evaluate these requests on a case-by-case basis.
Contact the OIT Service Desk with your ticket number.
There is no cost for this service.
