| Banner 7.x | Yes | Banner Administrative forms run in the Vista environment under IE 7 with some navigation errors. According to Sungard, the vendor of Banner, some issues have been reported with IE7 and having multiple tabs open while viewing Oracle Forms, but thus far, they have not been able to duplicate these issues. Oracle forms are expected to be certified by Oracle in June. SunGard will start testing the Banner application of Oracle forms at that time and will hopefully certify the use of IE7 sometime in August. Thus, it will likely be fall before Banner is tested for Vista and certified on campus. However, this only affects staff who access the Banner application, and may possibly be avoided by running Vista in XP compatibility mode, although this hasn't been tested. |
