OIT provides website hosting services to faculty. Users can choose to build their website using the web-based OpenScholar content management system. For more advanced users familiar with editing HTML and CCS, we offer SSH based SFTP.
This service is available to all current UC Merced faculty.
After selecting Self Service, you will be able to select “Create your site” to get started.
Services for website hosting, assistance in getting the initial website published, and continuing support for IT-hosted faculty websites.
Support for this service is provided during standard operating hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
If not using the ‘self-service’ option, email request will be answered within 1-3 business days.
