For all other inquiries, the OIT Service Desk is available during standard operating hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m., Monday through Friday. If direct assistance from Zoom is needed, AET will submit a ticket on behalf of the campus user. For assistance creating or facilitating a Zoom call with in-person support, 48 hour notice is required.
Once the request is received, the user will be contacted to set up a short Zoom meeting to complete the process. Please note that moving from a campus regular account to a BAA account can cause the loss of any current and recurring meetings that were previously scheduled.
Zoom accounts remain active as long as you are with UC Merced as a currently employed faculty or staff or an attending student. Your account will be disabled when you leave the University.
This service is funded as an enterprise service for campus-wide use and there is no cost directly to users.
