This service is only available in the following locations:
- COB1 - 102, 105
- COB2 - 110, 130, 140, 170
- SE2 - 302
OIT Academic and Emerging Technologies will set up CatCast which can capture and stream the following activity types:
- Lectures (Requested by the instructor)
- Guest Speakers/Lectures
- Special Events (Requested by the event coordinator)
Video capture technology is pre-installed in various COB1 and COB2 lecture halls. Other locations on campus may be serviced with the use of a mobile CatCast system.
Instructional Courses: Instructors should plan at least four weeks prior to the start of the semester. We do not take requests to capture courses for individual students. Research, Administrative, and Special Events: Five working days advance notice is required for video capture and streaming requests. OIT Academic and Emerging Technology will make efforts to accommodate requests with less notice, but will evaluate these requests on a case-by-case basis.
