OIT provides consultation, training and support for faculty use of the Instructional Media/ Learning Glass Studio. Instructional videos are a useful way to deliver complicated concepts and information to students. OIT in conjunction with CETL and UCOP has developed an instructional videos student as a resource for faculty developing hybrid and online courses. The studio contains all of the equipment for professional video production and editing. One great feature is the Learning Glass technology. The Learning Glass is new technology for recording lectures that allows instructors to write lecture notes while maintaining face-to-face contact with students. It consists of a transparent whiteboard paired with a video camera for recording.
This service is for active faculty and instructors developing hybrid or online courses, with a UCMNetID. You must be an Instructor of Record.
