Network Static IP Address

OIT will provide you a static IP address for a device that requires a constant IP address.
What do I need to get this service?

This service is available for active faculty, staff or graduate students (pre approval through your Principal Investigator). Please use the “Request” button and include the following information:

  • Description of device requiring static IP address
  • Location of system (Castle, Campus, Mondo… etc.)
  • Network (DMZ, HiSec, RedNet… etc.)

Consultation may be provided if necessary or requested.

What is included?

You will be provided with a static IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and/or DNS server information.

When is support for this service available?
Support for this service is provided during standard operating hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m., Monday through Friday.
How long does it take to get the service?

Within 3 business days.

How do I stop or change the service?

Contact the OIT Service Desk with the ticket number.
