Wireless (WiFi) Device Registration

Description:

Wireless (WiFi) Device Registration

The UC Merced wireless network requires authentication with your UCMNetID and password. Some wireless devices, including certain gaming consoles and media streaming systems, do not support this form of authentication, called WPA2 Enterprise.

Gaming consoles and media streaming boxes work best when plugged into the wired jack in your residence (Note: Glacier Point and Granite Pass residences do not have wired connections). If a wired connection is not possible or available, affected devices may be registered to automatically connect to the UCM Guest wireless network.

What do I need to get this service?
