PROJECT OVERVIEW
The NGN Network Upgrade will replace outdated and aging network equipment such as routers, switches, and wireless access points to increase the accessibility, speed, and reliability of the campus network.
This will greatly improve the efficiency and uptime of daily network based activities at UC Merced.
PROJECT IMPACT
This project will increase the security, accessability, speed, and reliability of the UC Merced network, not only of essential data systems used for research, teaching, and learning, but for all other network-based campus activitiesas well.
