What is Happening?
On November 1st, 2021, Zoom planned make a change that would require all Zoom users to update their Zoom client to a version that is no more than 9 months older than the current client version. However, after getting feedback from their users, they decided to delay this change until 2022.
What does this mean for you?
If you are running an older zoom client and haven't update in a while, you should update your Zoom client. However, there will be no other change to your Zoom experience until 2022 (date TBA).
When is this happening?
This change was scheduled to take place on November 1st, 2021. However, it has been pushed to a later date to be announced in 2022.
