What's New? Changes and Upgrades
Exciting news, with the assistance of Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) and Degree Completion funding, many classroom and academic spaces within the Classroom and Office Building 1 (COB 1) and Social Sciences and Management (SSM) have been upgraded!
Changes to COB 1
The Classroom and Office Building 1 (COB 1) has seen many need changes over the summer. Rooms 263, 265, and 267 have been converted from analog (VGA) to digital (HDMI), along with the implementation of a new Zoom integration system with cameras and audience microphones to facilitate hybrid learning and special events.
Changes to SSM
Several spaces within the Social Sciences and Management building received its long-awaited upgrades, replacing failing and outdated analog (VGA) audiovisual equipment with modern digital equipment (HDMI). Previously, the equipment in rooms 107 and 125 and computer labs 102 and 154 used to create difficulty and headaches for many faculty members due to unreliable and failing equipment, now it has been replaced with modern equipment and audiovisual systems!
How it Happened
These new changes and upgrades were conducted over the summer thanks to Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) and Degree Completion funding.
