Older versions of the Duo Mobile app (Versions older than 4.85) will no longer be supported by Duo on February 2nd. In order to continue using Duo services, there are a few things you can do:
- Update Your Duo Mobile App
- Go to your devices app store and try to update your Duo Mobile app and enable auto-updates. Enabling auto updates helps you receive the latest updates and security patches as they become available and avoids service interruptions due to unsupported software.
- Remove Old Devices From Your Account.
- If you no longer use the devices with the outdated Duo Mobile app you can remove them from your account by following the steps on our Duo Website. Keeping your devices up to date in Duo helps keep your UC Merced account safe and secure.
- Open a Ticket
- If you need help updating your app, can't update your app, or have additional questions please open a ticket with the Information Security team. They will answer questions you have and figure out how we can keep your UC Merced account secure and accessible.
