Can I import all of my past quizzes into New Quizzes at once?
At this time quizzes can only be converted into New Quizzes one at a time. Canvas is working on a tool to allow for bulk migration, but we are currently waiting to hear when it will be ready to go. More information on how to migrate quizzes can be found on the New Quizzes FAQ page, under Migration.
When will I be able to download a .CSV file from New Quizzes?
We have heard that this is in development, but we do not yet have a specific date from Canvas on when it might be completed. More information on Canvas' New Quizzes timeline can be found at Sunsetting Classic Quizzes Q&A.

Where is the practice quiz option in New Quizzes?
New Quizzes does not have a specific practice quiz option. What Canvas has recommended is to make the quiz out of 0 points and then check the box titled "Do not count this assignment towards the final grade". Further information on how to do this can be found on the UCM OIT Knowledge Base under Creating a "Practice" Quiz in New Quizzes.
Why doesn’t New Quizzes have a survey option?
New Quizzes is built on the concept of being a student assessment tool. Since surveys are not used to assess a student’s knowledge or progress, Canvas decided to remove this option from New Quizzes. Staff is aware that instructors use this tool for a variety of reasons. Our current recommendation for instructors wanting to continue to conduct surveys via CatCourses, is to create an o365 Form, and then embed the form in an assignment. Steps on how to use o365 Forms in CatCourses can be found in the UCM OIT Knowledge Base under Using o365 Forms in CatCourses.
