1:02 PM: Our network host, CENIC, has identified and resolved the problems that caused UC Merced authentication to fail early this morning. All services have now been functioning normally for several hours, so it's safe to declare this outage over!
9:26 AM: Authentication and related platforms such as Office 365, UCPATH, etc now seem to be responding as expected, but OIT is continuing to monitor the situation and will post more information as we have it.
7:41 AM: UC Merced's network host, CENIC, is investigating widespread issues communicating with Amazon Web Services, which impacts various campus services including Single Sign-On. OIT is monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as soon as we have them.
7:26 AM: OIT is continuing to investigate an as-yet-undiagnosed cause of an outage impacting several services.
6:47 AM: Several additional network services are reporting as unresponsive suggesting a wide-spread issue. The OIT network team has been engaged.
6:11 AM: OIT is continuing to work with our vendor partners to diagnose the current loss of service to single sign-on authentication.
5:44 AM: Single sign on authentication is currently unavailable. OIT is investigating the problem.
