
As part of system-wide efforts to address the risks and threats associated with phone based authentication methods (SMS/Text & Call), OIT is working to eliminate these authentication methods from all services.
Effective Tuesday, November 18th, Staff, Faculty, Affiliate, & Service accounts will no longer be able to use these authentication methods with DUO.
How Can I Be Prepared?
If your DUO is configured to only use phone based authentication methods (SMS/Text & Call) you should have received an email from OIT on how to add supported authentication methods. However, reviewing the status of your 2FA methods and enrolling alternative methods is never a bad idea.
